Scope Of Work

NMDC started on this project in September 2008. The works of the project consisted of dredging and reclamation for the new central areas of the Fujairah port, deepening of the then existing port to a depth of -15 meters and to dredge a complete new basin to a depth of -18 meters with some stockpiling of material to be used by the Fujairah Municipality for their expansion project.

Approximately 1,500,000 m3 was dredged for the increased depth of the breakwater berths and 4,900,000 m3 volume was dredged for the new port expansion. This project marked a new milestone for NMDC executing it outside the Abu Dhabi area triggering a big step towards our future development in such geographies.

The concern or complaint should contain sufficient information to permit adequate investigation. At a minimum, the following information should be provided, as applicable:

  • The name and contact information of the reporting party; reports may be made anonymously, but individuals who make such reports should recognize the limits that are inherent in investigating anonymous reports;
  • Description of the improper activity, with sufficient detail to permit an initial investigation;
  • Name(s) of the employee(s), other individuals, or department(s) engaging in the activity or with knowledge of the activity;
  • Approximate or actual date(s) the activity took place;
  • Supporting documents; and
  • Information on any steps taken internally with NMDC Group’s management to report or resolve the concern or complaint.

NMDC Group will not retaliate — and will not tolerate retaliation — against any individual for reporting a good-faith concern or complaint, or for participating in the investigation of any complaint.
