With an extensive fleet of dredgers, support vessels, and marine equipment, we have the capabilities to fulfil even the most ambitious, complex requirements. Our activities include capital and maintenance dredging for ports, artificial island construction, beach construction, land reclamation, intake and outfall dredging.

Our Story
NMDC Dredging and Marine began as a subsidiary company in 1976, before being formally established as a shareholding independent entity in 1979. In 1986, NMDC Dredging and Marine became a public joint stock company, with 45% public shareholding, and the remainder divided between the government and local organizations.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, NMDC Dredging and Marine is made up of two main divisions, and supported by a vast fleet of dredgers, some of which have been specialized to operate in the challenging conditions of the Middle East. Since the beginning, NMDC Dredging and Marine has raised the industry benchmark and earned a global reputation for quality solutions, as well as contributing to the societal, economic, and financial development of Abu Dhabi.
